  • Detail

Product Introduction
Basic Structure Composition
Comprises an internal cable, MMO wires, pre-filled petroleum calcined coke powder, a textile covering layer, and a long-fiber braided layer.

Internal Cable
The continuous internal cable supplies stable current to the anode. To ensure flexibility, it is made up of 7-stranded copper wires twisted together.

MMO Wires
Acting as the main carrier of the anode, a mixture of iridium/tantalum oxides is coated on the surface of the titanium wires.

Petroleum Calcined Coke Powder
- Reduces the contact resistance between the auxiliary anode and the soil.
- Facilitates the electrochemical reaction to take place between the carbon powder/soil electrolyte around the auxiliary anode (MMO/Ti wires), safeguarding the protected object from electrochemical corrosion and prolonging the service life of the auxiliary anode.

Textile Covering Layer
- Encircles the carbon powder around the anode in a circular pattern with a specific packing density, ensuring that the carbon powder remains in place during storage, transportation, construction, and usage, without displacement, loosening, or scattering, thus preventing any impact on the normal operation and lifespan of the flexible anode.
- Exhibits excellent abrasion resistance, puncture resistance, and mechanical strength.
- Possesses good corrosion resistance.

Long - fiber Braided Layer
- Protects the textile covering layer from abrasion during the construction and installation of the flexible anode, and further tightens and secures the carbon powder and the textile covering layer.
- Features good abrasion resistance and mechanical strength.
- Demonstrates good corrosion resistance.

Product Applications
- Cathodic protection for buried steel long - distance transportation (oil, gas, water) pipelines.
- Cathodic protection of the bottom plates of large - scale steel storage tanks.
- Cathodic protection in areas with dense pipe networks, such as stations, power plants, and chemical plants.

Product Features
- The MMO - type flexible anode features a binary structure, which is composed of a cable (anode lead) and MMO wires connected in a knuckle - like fashion.
- The protective current is evenly distributed.
- It has minimal interference on surrounding metal structures.
- In areas with complex and dense pipe networks, there is no shielding or interference.
- The flexible anode can be arbitrarily cut at the construction site according to the requirements of the object to be protected, which is convenient and flexible to use.
- It has excellent protection effects, especially for complex pipe networks, aging pipelines, tank bottoms of storage tanks, and high - resistivity environments, which is unparalleled by other anodes.
- The flexible anode does not cause pollution to the environment.
